My Hostel Nampo

Excellent location, It's very close to amazing food street in Busan. The location is close to public transportation as well.

The food description was not accurate. They had mentioned Irish breakfast but all we got was bread butter and jam. haha

Location: excellent, very close to the commercial street and Lotte mall, as well as several underground stations. The hostel was clean and sanitary supplies were provided (shampoo, rinse, body soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, several towels). The rooms were warm enough for winter and had an air conditioner for warmer times (which only apparently supplies cool air). The showers had water hot enough for a steam sauna for as long as you wanted. Kitchen: electric stove, kitchen supplies and tableware as well as dish-washing supplies. There was also a water tank in the kitchen so you didn't have to drink tap water or buy it yourself, and there was someone at the service desk basically 24 hours a day. Recycling trash was possible. You can write on the walls with chalk with a few different colors. Check-out was easy (leave your key into a box).

If you only speak English, you might have some difficulties with communication with some of the staff, but with modern translation possibilities on basically any smart phone with an internet connection it's not a problem. You can enter the hostel without a key, but the individual room doors can be locked with your room key. This might be a security concern for some people.

They have good pillows. The place is just right for the amount we paid. The staff are friendly

I asked to replace pur towels because we had a three day stay but they refused and said only one towel per person

Location - near to everything. Food, night market, night clubs. Easy access by bus and metro. Sam and his mother, along with Shawn are very friendly and helpful.

Nothing as it was very value for money.

I travel with my wife and 2kid age 4 and 3 Very convenient and have a lot off restaurant within walking distance! Most of the restaurant is open till late midnight!

If possible toilet upgrade as not up to my expectations

Sound proof is very weak, I could not sleep at night. And the room was different what I saw in the picture. THERE WAS NO TELEVISION.

This hostel near by Jagalchi Market. If you come for food this is great location. Front of the hostel is largers of Korean street food. And also restraunt. All is about seafood lover. This is cheaper price for private room incl breakfast.

The WiFi very slow in room and shower bidet too. This hostel behind the restraunt and just put name my hostel.

Room cleanliness and completeness of hostel facilities: My friend and I stayed at My Hostel Nampo for 3 nights. We booked for a room for 2 and were pleasantly surprised that we were assigned a room good for 3. The hostel is located on the 2rd, 3rd and 4th floor of a building, including a rooftop (now a common area for guests) at the 5th floor. There is no elevator but the host was kind enough to help us haul our luggages through the flights of stairs. Room was spacious enough to open our 2 luggages at the same time. A spacious private bathroom was included in the room with hot and cold shower, free body bath, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush and hairdryer. For the common facilities, a shared kitchen (3rd photo) and water dispenser was available at the 2nd floor. Wifi was good and strong in our floor. Location: The best trait for this hostel for me (apart from the very affordable price) is its strategic location. Mind you, the street going to the hostel seem to me like a red light district with a lot of bars and establishments where people get drunk. However, we felt safe inside the hostel. The nearest station is Jagalchi station. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk (we followed googlemaps). Within walking distance is jagalchi market, gukje market and BIFF square. Extras: We really appreciated that despite the very low cost, free breakfast consisting of toast, strawberry jam and butter, and 3-in-1 coffee was included with our booking at 7-10 AM. I also appreciated how fast the host replied to my inquiries. (Tip: You may want to request for pictures from the host of the outside of the hostel to make it easier for you to locate it in the myriad of colorful signs within the street).

There was an airconditioner but no heating system (we stayed in the 2nd week of Nov so it was getting colder) but room temp was nonetheless tolerable, although this may become a problem come winter time. For some reason, my friend and I always sneezed incessantly every time we enter the room (or maybe it's just the cold weather). Whenever we closed the door or when other guests closed their room doors, the walls in our room would rattle and shake, but that was no big deal. Bathroom could have been cleaner but then again, considering the price, my friend and I didn't expect 5-star spotless cleaning, anyway.

The location is close to restaurants and BiFF square. Perfect for shopping and cheap eats.

Can be noisy at night but bearable. Given the location, it can't be helped.

We read lot of not too good comments but still decide to book here. The room was good enough for that price and they provide simple breakfast also. The staff is nice and friendly. Already recommend for my friend when they go to Busan next month.
